SUMMARY:MIAS Ride Leader Level 1 and Level 2 Course
DESCRIPTION:Our next MIAS Mountain Bike Leader Level 2 course will be in July.\n\nThe course will take place on the Marlborough downs and you will learn route planning\, skills coaching\, leadership and guiding skills\, enabling you to guide groups in technical terrain. It will also qualify you to teach the skills required to ride at that level. These include front wheel lifts\, rear wheel lifts\, bunny hops\, drops and trail obstacles. \n\n\nThe 2 day course will run over the weekend of 26th and 27th July 2025 at Liddington Village Hall and will cost £275\, which includes your MIAS registration and log book.\n\nDrop us a message or Email adrian@swindoncyclecoaching.co.uk for more information.

DESCRIPTION:Want to learn how to get the most out of mountain biking? There are a few key skills that will transform your riding – giving you more confidence and letting you do even more. \nWe start by setting you up with your bike\, checking it\, making sure it is set up right for you and the principles of making adjustments to suit you. We will also go through essentials to carry with you on a ride. \nThen we tackle Body position. Where you put your body in relation to your bike influences so many things\, but most fundamentally\, where your bike goes. Nailing this opens up so many more possibilities in your riding. \nFrom there we work on how to use your body position for: \n\ncornering\nascending\ndescending\nsmall obstacles\n\nFor July we are offering 40% off our normal rate\, giving you the 2 hour course for £30.
