Easter MIAS MTB Ride Leader Level 1 and 2 course

Our second MIAS Mountain Bike Leader course in 2026 will be in March on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th. This is a combined course, enabling to do either Level 1 or Level 2.
This is the perfect course for anyone wanting to working in mountain biking and is a standard qualification for many outdoor activity companies. It is recognised internationally and domestically and is an ideal qualification for teachers or leaders in organisations like the Scouts looking to deliver mountain biking activities.
The course will take place on the Marlborough downs and you will learn route planning, skills coaching, leadership and guiding skills, enabling you to guide groups in technical terrain. It will also qualify you to teach the skills required to ride at that level. These include front wheel lifts, rear wheel lifts, bunny hops, drops and trail obstacles. 
The 2 day course will run over the weekend of 7th and 8th March 2026 at Liddington Village Hall and will cost £280, which includes your MIAS registration fees and log book.

Devon MIAS MTB Ride Leader Level 2 course

We are running a mid week MIAS Mountain Bike Leader Level 2 course in the Easter holidays in a new location – Princetown, Devon.
This is the perfect course for anyone wanting to working in mountain biking and is a standard qualification for many outdoor activity companies. It is recognised internationally and domestically and is an ideal qualification for teachers or leaders in organisations like the Scouts looking to deliver mountain biking activities.
The course will take place in the epic Dartmoor national park and you will learn route planning, skills coaching, leadership and guiding skills, enabling you to guide groups in technical terrain. It will also qualify you to teach the skills required to ride at that level. These include front wheel lifts, rear wheel lifts, bunny hops, drops and trail obstacles. 
The 2 day course will run on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th April 2026 at Princetown Community Centre. The course costs £280, which includes your MIAS registration and log book. Discounts are available for members of the armed forces, Blue Light cards, teachers and members of cycling clubs.

Henley MIAS MTB Ride Leader Level 1 and 2 Course

We are running a mid week MIAS Mountain Bike Leader Level 2 course in February half term in a new location – Henley-on-Thames.
The course will take place in the beautiful Chiltern Hills surrounding Henley and you will learn route planning, skills coaching, leadership and guiding skills, enabling you to guide groups in technical terrain. It will also qualify you to teach the skills required to ride at that level. These include front wheel lifts, rear wheel lifts, bunny hops, drops and trail obstacles. 
The 2 day course will run on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th February 2026 at Harpsden Village Hall. The course costs £280, which includes your MIAS registration and log book. Discounts are available for members of the armed forces, Blue Light cards, teachers and members of cycling clubs.

More MIAS Courses coming up

We’ve scheduled more MIAS MTB Ride Leader Level 1/2 courses – a weekend in September and mid-week October course.

September‘s course takes place on the weekend of 20th & 21st September, 9am to 5pm both days.

In October we will host a mid week course on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th October, 9am to 5pm both days again.

Both events will be held in Liddington, Swindon and cost £275 per person. This includes all tuition and your MIAS Registration fees and log book.
